Lori Jean Levy
As a member of the World Marketing Partners team, Lori Jean Levy leverages not only her legal acumen, but considerable expertise in specialty foods, imports, and brand development. A licensed U.S. Customs Broker, Lori brings tremendous experience and know-how to WMP in the areas of logistics, customs, sourcing, and private label product development.
With a dynamic career that began in the practice of Customs and International Trade Law, Lori’s passion and professional life turned to food and the cultivation of brands in key markets. While Director of Trade and Product Development for New York’s beloved Fairway Market, Lori was responsible for the growth and success of the Private Label Program, as well as the Specialty Import Department. Though highly skilled in the life cycles of diverse products, Lori has an especially keen understanding of the olive oil and vinegar categories. She serves as the VP of Global Trade & Policy for Women in Olive Oil.
During her time as Vice President at Inalca Food and Beverage North America, Lori oversaw the development of a vast multimillion-dollar portfolio of Italian imported specialties, including charcuterie, cheese, olive oil, vinegar, pasta, condiments, and sweets.
Currently CEO of My Global Table, Lori is a board member of Les Dames d’Escoffier, New York and a member of the Atlanta chapter. A recognized leader in the food and beverage industries, she has written about specialty foods for various publications including Wine4Food.com.
Lori holds a BA in International Studies from Emory University and a JD from Fordham University School of Law.
